This parrot platform is textured due to the picture; some edges are raised making it an ideal perching surface for your bird. The benefit is more variety for your bird's feet versus a completely flat perching surface.

SIZES:
Small 5x7" Perching Area (1" thick with 1 set of stainless hardware. Washers are 1" in diameter)
Suitable for small to medium birds; parakeets, cockatiels, finches, lovebirds, parrotlets, conures etc. Lightweight and a good fit for flight cages.
Medium 9x8" Perching Area (1" thick with 1 set of stainless hardware. Washers are 2" in diameter)
Can be used for small birds to medium and some larger birds, up to amazons and african greys. Still lightweight enough to use in a flight cage.
Large 11x9 Perching Area (2" thick with 2 sets of stainless hardware. Washers are 2" in diameter)
Heavy with two mounting hardware locations to keep secure. Best for large to xlarge birds from amazons to macaws and cockatoos. Will NOT be supported in a flight cage or aluminum cages as the bars are too "soft" to support this heavy platform perch.
